"MANO DE PIEDRA" DURAN HEALTH UPDATE

Through a statement from the family of the legendary and world boxing hall-of-famer Roberto Durán, it has been reported that "Mano de Piedra" remains under medical surveillance after suffering a health complication due to a complete Atrioventricular block ("Complete AV Block"), an interruption of the transmission of impulses from the atria to the ventricles.
He underwent a successful hip operation some time ago and now faces this moment with his family and thousands of fans around the world.
In the statement, Durán's family reports that they are awaiting results to later share more information about his health.
The family says thanks to friends and all of his followers for keeping him in their prayers.
Much strength and health to the great champion Durán, an extraordinary human being.
