CHEZKA CENTENO WINS PREDATOR WOMEN'S LAS VEGAS OPEN

Chezka Centeno made it a great day for Filipinos in Las Vegas after she defeat China's Siming Chen to win the 2024 Predator Las Vegas 10-ball Women's Open Title Saturday night at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Earlier in the day Lee Van Corteza bested compatriot Carlo Biado to win the Men's version of the title.

Chen opened the match taking the first two racks but Centeno came back strong to take first set, 4-2. Centeno carried the momentum in the second set leading 3-1 but Chen made a fight out of it inching closer at 2-3 and about to tie the set but missed the cleanup and the deciding rack allowing Centeno to close the show at 4-2 and and a two-set victory over her Chinese rival.

Centeno won the top prize of $18,000 while Chen earned $10,500 as runner-up.
