Flores, Ronquillo seek 2nd win in Cavite

BACOOR, Cavite --Undefeated Kasty Flores and Robert Ronquillo are both aiming for their 2nd straight win as they fight separate opponents on December 10 at the Unlad Gym in San Rafael 2, Noveleta, Cavite.

The 18-year-old Flores of Misamis Oriental will face Jomar Delfino of Lipa City in the 108 pounds.

Ronquillo , 22, will trade punches with Bryan Flores of Baruch Stable-Taguig in the bantamweight division.

Ronquillo beat John Phili Magarzo of Taguig City by a majority decision last October 9, 2023 in Laguna.

Flores, on the other hand, defeated Jay Duerme in the 1st round by a technical knockout also last October 9.

"It's okay, my heath is good. My only problem is I'm hungry because I hàd reduçed," said Flores.

They had their last sparring last December 1 at Elorde Gym in Parànàque Çity.

Pitted in the main event are unbeaten Junebirt Bantay (1-0-0) of Libuna, Bukidnon against Jimboy Navidad (1-1-1) of Mandaluyong City.

The other fights are Jeplex Quirante of Manolo Fortich Bukidnon versus Jerwin Meneses (105 lbs.) and Aldren Aton of Surigao del Norte against Jerry De Vera of Bangar, La Union (112 lbs).

Promoter Yolanda "Ate Yolly" Alfante said the fight will start at 3 p.m.

Assisting her is Jimmy Vallares Jr. while the matchmaker is Joseph Qiuro.
