Suelo-Aquino-Bernardino chess simul at SM Dagupan City slated

1996 Philippine Junior Champion Fide Master Robert Suelo Jr. makes another rare appearance when he holds simultaneous exhibition chess matches with select students and residents of Pangasinan to be held on Sunday, May 21 at the SM Dagupan Event Center in Dagupan City, Pangasinan.
Suelo will join National Master Jose Aquino Jr. and National Master Almario Marlon Bernardino Jr. in the special simultaneous exhibition matches organized by San Fabian Chess Club president Atty. Reddy Ceralde Balarbar.
“We’re excited.The students are eager to meet and even play FM Robert Suelo Jr. in simultaneous chess exhibition matches,” said Atty. Balarbar, who is also the legal adviser of the Hermano Chess Club.
Supporting the event are Vice Mayor Ernesto Salcedo, Mr. Cayetano Garcia, Mr. Allen Garcia, SM Prime Holdings Inc. and Pangasinan Association of Chess Executives and Retirees (PACER).
National Arbiter Glenn Hullana Garcia added that among the early entrants in the rare simultaneous chess exhibition are Hannah Aquino, Joash Aquino, Stanley Eclarino, Khamea Hermogino, Althea Echon, Edlyn Jianme Echon Ednave and Ericka Ordizo.
The 3rd Pangasinan Invitational Executive Chess Cup FIDE 2200 and below rapid tournament also gets going on Sunday after the staging of the rare simultaneous chess exhibition.
Atty. Rodolfo Enrique "Rudy" Rivera, Dr. Fred Paez, Mr. Robert Racasa and Mr. Arnel Espiritu is leading the cast of participants in this one-day event, which offers P10,000 cash prize plus trophy to the champion. For inquiry, contact cellphone number 09666390337.-Marlon Bernardino-
