TANK DAVIS KNOCKS OUT RYAN GARCIA IN 7TH!

T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas --

Gervonta "Tank" Davis (29-0, 27KOs) stops Ryan Garcia (23-1, 19KOs) in the 7th round with a body shot!!! There was a delayed reaction by Garcia after receiving the left hook from Tank to he body. Garcia was retreating and jabbing but then took a knee. Garcia beat the count but the referee sensing that Garcia was really hurt waved off the fight 1:44 of the 7th round.

In the Main Event Ryan in front of a sold out T-Mobile crowd Ryan "KingRy" Garcia (23-0, 19KOs) vs WBA (Regular) lightweight champion Gervonta "Tank" Davis (28-0, 26KOs)

Round 1 - Garcia worked behind a good jab. Both fighters cautious. Not much landed by both fighters. Tank looking for counters. 10-9 Garcia

Round 2- Garcia gets over confident after landing a few shots that appear to stun Tank. Tank clinches several times. Garcia appears over confident and Tank catches Garcia with a beautiful left hook that sent Garcia to the canvas. It appears to be a flash knock down. Garcia recovers and finishes the round more cautious. 10-8 Tank.

Round 3 -Tactical round by both fighters. Garcia using good defense. Still the aggressor. Tank setting traps, but Garcia seems to have learned from the first mistake. Close round. Garcia 10-9.



Round 4 - Garcia works behind the jab. Tank picks his shot and lands effectively. Both fighters have their moments. Close round. Tank 10-9.

Round 5 - Tank using a good jab and good foot work. Garcia works behind he jab. Both fighters looking to land the knockout punch. Close round. Tank 10-9

Round 6 - Garica scores 2 good right hands.Tank looking to counter the taller Garcia. Good round for Garcia. 10-9 Garcia.
