In middleweight defense of the WBC Latino middleweight title, Elijah Garcia (15-0, 12KOs) of of Phoenix, Arizona retained his title with a unanimous decision victory over the tough Kevin Salgado of Mexico (15-2-1, 10KOs). Salgado was deducted 1 point for a foul in the 7th round after repeated warnings. In the Post fight interview Elijah who soon turns 20 years old, maintained that his goal is to be a world champion by 21. Let's see what happens.
