Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist Eumir Felix Marcial exhibited his punching prowess when he dropped twice and knocked out Ricardo Ruben Villalba of Argentina in the second round in their eight round scheduled fight at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas Saturday night (Sunday morning in Manila) on the undercard of the Rey Vargas vs O'Shaquie Foster WBC super featherweight title fight.

Marcial connected with a body shot late in round one to send Villalba to the canvas for the first time. Marcial finished the proceedings in the second round with a right to the head that dropped Villalba again. Time of stoppage was at 48 seconds of the 2nd round.

Marcial now improves his record to 4-0 with 2KOs. The trial horse Villalba succumbed to his fourth straight defeat and dropped further down to 20-8-1, 8KOs.
