Jimuel Pacquiao knows the value of his name and the commensurate responsibility attached to his chosen field of endeavor.

It is why he has poured his heart and soul into his training at the Wild Card Gym.

He has done his homework- logged in the necessary road work, sparring, and strategic counseling with head coach Marvin Somodio and training camp facilitator Geoff “Kali” Sopenasky.

Next Saturday, February 4, 2023, Jimuel headlines a 15-bout card featuring some of the best aspiring amateur boxers just like him; and by the looks of it, all participants should do well.

Three members from the Chicago Youth Boxing Club will be seeing action on the same card. We can be sure all three aspiring boxers will have their eyes wide open as they experience the fight atmosphere in Las Vegas.

Irving Sierra (14) and Omar Salgado (14), who attend North Lawndale High School, and Daniel Lopez (18), who take classes at Morton College- the same college where famed actor Joe Mantegna attended- will get their maiden flight out of Chicago courtesy of the CYBC and Manny Pacquiao Foundation. They come from the rough and tumble neighborhoods in the West and South side of Chicago. They took up the sport of boxing as a great way to exercise and acquire the discipline to escape the pitfalls of juvenile delinquency, smoking and illicit drugs.

“The Manny Pacquiao Foundation is proud to be associated with the Chicago Youth Boxing Club who are fielding three promising boxers to fight alongside Jimuel Pacquiao. Messrs. Jon Sisson, Nick Gambino and Manny Pacquiao are honored to assist Vegas Stronger Foundation in their worthy cause. Through boxing, we hope to spread a great message for health, exercise, and discipline for the youth and all sports enthusiasts,” Robert “Bob” Lyons, Director at the Manny Pacquiao Foundation, told PhilBoxing.com.

The lead promoter is Ramon Montano, retired professional boxer who prides himself of having sparred Floyd Mayweather, Jr. in numerous training camps, and has also helped Manny Pacquiao for his third bout against Juan Manuel Marquez. Mr. Montano is taking his vast experience in the fight game to help up and coming amateur boxers through his Never Quit Boxing Gym and Promotions. In association with Vegas Stronger and the Manny Pacquiao Promotions, Mr. Montano is set for his amateur boxing card ‘Fights of Fury to be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Westgate Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Here is Emmanuel Pacquiao, Jr. sharing his thoughts on his foray into the world of boxing.

“Hello Everyone…This is Jimuel Pacquiao, amateur boxer, inviting you to join me on February 4th, 2023 for my maiden boxing fight against Marco Rosales in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“It is with great honor to have some of my fellow boxers from the Chicago Youth Boxing Club join me in a 15-bout card promoted by Never Quit Boxing Promotions in association with Manny Pacquiao Foundation and Vegas Stronger Foundation. Together, we hope to inspire each other as we embrace sports, particularly boxing, as one of the pillars to success in life.

“Special thanks to Mr. Bob Lyons, Jon Sisson, Nick Gambino of the Manny Pacquiao Foundation, Promoter Ramon Montano and our friends at the Vegas Stronger Foundation…See you February 4, 2023 at the Westgate Resort and Casino in Las Vegas for a great night of boxing.

“Mabuhay po kayong lahat!”
