VIRGEL “Valiente” Vitor of Tagbilaran City will make his first title defense against Dong Kwan Lee of South Korea for the World Boxing Organization Oriental super featherweight title on December 8 at the Calape Sports Center in Barangay Desamparados, Calape.

“I'm happy and excited because my promoter gave me a great opportunity,” said Vitor, who thanked his manager and promoter Floriezyl Podot of Bohol.

The 25-year-old Vitor took the vacant WBO Oriental super featherweight title by knocking out Armon Yupang in the 3rd round last September 9 in Dimian, Bohol.

“Condition is ready now. I’m 100% for the upcoming play and my weight is correct, no problem,” said Vitor.

Vitor and his coach Niño Alnaiz are now based in the training camp of PMI Boxing Stable in Taloto, Tagbilaran.

Vitor already had a sparring with undefeated featherweight Daniel Nicolas and the Tinampay brothers Arnel and Jason last week.

Vitor has 19 wins, two loses with 12 knockouts while Lee has 16 wins, two loses, two draws with seven knockouts.

The 30-year-old Lee recently stopped Roemart Sentillas in the second round last August 13 at Junggu Hall in Seoul.

The boxing event dubbed as the 'Kumong Bol-anon VIII" is promoted by PMI Bohol Boxing Promotions.
