Ali Demirezen defeats Adam Kownacki via unanimous decision victory!

Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York -- In the Co-Feature of the night Adam Kownacki 20-2, 15KOs fighting out of Brooklyn, NY took on Ali Demirezen 16-1 12KOs fighting out of Germany. Kownacki was on a fast track to getting a world title only to lose his last two fights to Robert Helenius by knockout.

Round 1
Knownacki came out cautious, but after throwing a few punches he reverted back to his usual self. Moving forward throwing heavy punches trying to knock out his opponent. Demirezen didn't back down and pressed forward showing Kownacki he was here to fight and scored well. 10-9 Knownacki

Round 2
More of the same action in round 2 with back and forth action between both fighters. Ali Demirezen is showing that he's not an opponent. Both fighters scored well to Close round. 10-9

Round 3
Same action in rounds 3 from round 2. 10-9. Ali Demirezen.

Round 4
Ali Demirezen is outboxing Knownacki. Knownacki punches don't seem to be hurting Ali Demirezen. 10-9 Ali Demirezen

Round 5
Ali Demirezen continues to score well. Knownacki doesn't have answer for Ali Demirezen to take over the fight. 10-9 Demireezeen.

Round 6
Both fighters are fighting toe to toe action. Ali Demirezen scored well. The crowd is trying to spur Knownacki to victory by chanting his name. 10-9 Demireezeen.

Round 7
More of the same action from round 6 except for Kownacki increases his work rate and out scores Ali Demirezen. 10-9 Knownaki.



Round 8
Both fighters continue throwing heavy punches, but again Ali Demirezen outworks Knowacki.10-9 Ali Demirezen

Round 9
More of the same action from round 8 in round 9. 10-9 Ali Demirezen

Round 10

Both fighters are obviously trying to knock each other out. Good action, no knockdown, but the fight ends with a good showing by both fighters. Close round. 10-9 Kownacki
