ELORDE Davao Gym which offers boxing, Muay Thai and yoga is now open again.

“It was a tough 2021, but we survived the beating and we came out stronger. Bring it in 2022. We are ready for you,” said owner Alfie Angelo Jonsay.

It is the first and only Elorde franchise in Davao and Mindanao.

“I'm sad to say that there were branches from Luzon that were hit hard by the pandemic and had to close permanently,” said Jonsay.

Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.

“Help your kids, spend their energy through exercise. Sign them up to our boxing and Muay Thai package,” said Jonsay.

The coaches in boxing are lightweight Robert “Battlin’ Bert” Udtohan (24-6-3, 15KOs) and bantamweight Mark Glenn Antaran (4-5-3, 3KOs). They are former professional boxers under the Games and Amusements Boards.

King Raffy Miranda and VJ Sarmogenes are teaching MuayThai. Both of them are former members of the Muay Thai Philippine team.

Professional boxers and MuayThai are also welcome to train at the playground.

Yoga, on the other hand, is now conducted by Leni Gail Olimba every Monday and Saturday.

“Yoga adds years to your life and life to your years,” said Jonsay.

A membership fee is P1,500 while for unlimited gym use. The 10 sessions of boxing with free 10 sessions gym use is P1,500.

For the unlimited boxing with free unlimited gym use is P3,000 while for 10 sessions Muay Thai with free 10 sessions gym is P2,000
