
TANK DAVIS STOPS ROLLY ROMERO IN 6!

NEW YORK -- The Barclays Center is sold out! As I scan the arena, there does not appear to be an empty seat in the house! From celebrities, hardcore boxing fans, the average Joe, to those in the New York area who the Promotions successfully sold the idea that this is a fight that they just had to witness. Rolly walked out to the sound of the one of the greatest musical artist of all time Prince's "When Doves Cry." When it was Tank's turn to walk to the ring, it was clear that Tank was the fan favorite with the ovation he received. If Tank wasn't listed as coming from Baltimore one might of thought the WBA (regular) lightweight champion was from New York.
Round 1
Rolly stalked Tank. Trying to close the gap. Botb fighter were careful. Nothing significant landed for either fighter unit the final seconds of the fight when Rolly landed hand . Rolly 10-9.
Round 2
Rolly connect and seems to stun Tank. Tnak hits the canvas but it appear to be more of a push. The ref warns Rolly. Rollyb is very aggressive and continues to stalk Tank. Tank responds with a nice right hand s which momentarily halts Rolly but Rolly persist. Rolly 10-9.
Round 3
Rolly is still the aggressor. Good defense by Tank. Tank begins to land. Close Round,. Rolly 10-9.
Round 4
Rolly is throwing paunches with bad attentions, but he's not reckless picking his shots and using good defense, Tank was counter punching looking for openings.10-9 Davis
Round 5
More of the same action of previous round. Rolly continues stalk Tank to cut off the ring. Rolly using his size advantage to manhandle Tank. Tank complains to referee. 10-9 Rolly.
Round 6
Tank Stops Rolly via TKO in 6th round!!!
Tank drops Rolly with a well timed counter perfect left hook when Rolly was throwing shots! Rolly beats the count, but the referee waves the fight off as Rolly appears to be too unsteady on his feet. The time was 2:39 of 6th round TKO. Tank celebrates in Rolly's corner. Rolly quickly exited the ring opting not to be interviewed. Tank showed a lot composure and calm of a real champion!
