
Fundora receives WBC Belt and going to Guinness record

Sebastian Fundora officially received the interim WBC super welterweight world belt from WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman in an event held on the traditional "WBC Coffee Tuesdays".
Fundora won the world championship after beating his compatriot Erickson Lubin on April 9 at an event held at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas and organized by promoters Tom Brown and Sampson Lewkowicz.
The International and Mexican press shared with Fundora who is considered as part of the new members of the future of world boxing.
In the traditional media weekly event are recognized the trajectory of the young American of Mexican descent and who is called the infernal tower.
“Fundora from the beginning saw himself as a great prospect and today he is part of the WBC champions family . He is still young and he is eager to become a great champion,” said Sulaiman
Fundora, 24 years old, has the opportunity to get the Guinness record with 1.96 meters as the tallest world champion in the history of the super welterweight division where was world champions such as: Oscar De La Hoya, Thomas Hearns, Sugar Ray Leonard, Mike McCallum, Julian Jackson, Terry Norris, Floyd Mayweather Jr and Winky Wright among others.
Fundora is promoted by Sampson Lewkowicz.
