
Mega World Boxing night in Panamá on Friday

Undefeated Argentinian Hector Andres Sosa gets his first international bout when he takes on Panamanian prospect Rafael Pedroza in a World Boxing Council Super Bantamweight Latin Silver title match in the main feature of the international boxing mega-event to be held at the Boxing Center Vasco Núñez de Balboa Conventions at Hotel El Panamá, in Panama City, with live broadcasts through TyC Sports, TyC Sports Play and TV Max of Panama.
The event is organized by Sampson Boxing together with Best Box in a strong alliance with the Panamanian Government and the main private and multinational companies in the country.
The event will have six more bouts with four more international fights. In the semi-main event, undefeated Panamanian prospect Alexander Durán (20-0, 7 KOs) will face Ecuadorian Edwin Bennett (15-2, 7 KOs), in a super lightweight category and eight rounds.
The other prospect Ronal Batista (13-2, 8 KOs) will face the undefeated Mexican Nobel laureate Ramsés Pérez Gómez (8-0, 2 KOs), in super flyweight and eight rounds.
In the welterweight category, the strong Venezuelan knockout artist Roiman Villa (22-1, 22 KOs) will face the consistent Peruvian Jesús Bravo (19-5-1, 17 KOs), in eight rounds.
At bantamweight, local favorite Edgar Valencia (14-5-1-1, 3 KOs) takes on Mexican rookie Luis Robles Pacheco (14-1, 4 KOs), over eight rounds.
Panamanians Juan Huertas (14-3-1, 10 KOs) and Fernando De La Rosa (5-2-1, 3 KOs) will face each other in super lightweight, over six rounds.
Another Panamanian fight will be in welterweight, between Alcibíades Ballesteros (0-1-1) and Ricardo Rodríguez (1-6-1), over four rounds.
Within the mega event there will be Olympic boxing matches that have been supporting the Boxing series "Sembrando Campeones" in Panama.
