Malik Scott, the head trainer of former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, says the boxer's equilibrium was distorted after the third round. Wilder went down in the third and he was on wobbly legs for the rest of the round. But Wilder was able to score two knockdowns of Tyson Fury in the fourth round.

Fury was able to recover, dropping Wilder in the tenth and in the eleventh for the knockout. After that, Wilder told Scott that Fury hit him with a solid shot to the ear in the third and it altered his equilibrium until the end of the fight.
