Los Angeles, CA – October 12, 2021 - Probellum is happy to announce its latest co-promotional agreement with Nicaraguan giants Bufalo Boxing.

Led by president Ruth Elizabeth Rodriguez Roa and her husband, former two-time minimumweight and light-flyweight world champion Rosendo Alvarez, Bufalo Boxing has promoted events for nearly 10 years, both nationally in Nicaragua, and on the international stage

They have a fantastic stable of boxers full of former world champions and future stars, including Francisco Fonseca, Freddy Fonseca, Oliver Flores, Roberto Arriaza, Byron Rojas, Santos Reyes and more.

Bufalo Boxing have regularly held up to 16 events in Nicaragua and Central America each year, and during the pandemic, they made history on 25 April 2020 by becoming the first event in the world to safely resume boxing, using the protocols that many around the globe have implemented themselves.

The deal with Probellum will now see boxing in Nicaragua taken to new heights, looking to build on the already-fantastic work that Bufalo Boxing has achieved.

It is the latest major co-promotional agreement that Probellum has signed, having also secured partnerships with some of the biggest promoters around the world, including Wasserman Boxing, Universum in Germany, Maravillabox Promotions in Spain, LNK Boxing in Latvia, Glozier Boxing in New Zealand, Shuan Boxing Promotions in the Dominican Republic, Team Ellis Boxing in Australia, Armin Tan Promotions in Indonesia, and Box Office Sports in Ghana.

"We are very happy and proud to be able to work in this co-promotion agreement hand in hand with Probellum," said Ruth Elizabeth Rodriguez Roa of Bufalo Boxing.

"We have already made history over the years, and now we can't wait to continue to make history with Probellum to develop the careers of our Nicaraguan fighters."

"It's fantastic to announce another major co-promotional agreement, this time with Bufalo Boxing of Nicaragua," said Richard Schafer, President of Probellum.

"They have shown over a number of years that they are one of the leaders in innovation and creativity when it comes to putting on memorable events, as seen when they helped to bring boxing back out of the pandemic safely, so we can't wait to join forces and take things to another level."
