The third fight between British Tyson Fury and American Deontay Wilder rescheduled on October 9 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, United States, has already sold around $22 million in tickets. The information was provided by businessman Frank Warren, co-promoter of Fury.

The third heavyweight fight was scheduled for this Saturday but had to be postponed because Tyson Fury and other members of his team were diagnosed with Covid-19. Because of this the duel for the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight title has been scheduled for the second Saturday in October.

In the first fight, in December 2018, the two tied, while in the second fight, in February 2020, the victory went to Tyson Fury by KO in the seventh round.

If Tyson Fury beats Deontay Wilder again, the Briton will face the winner of compatriot Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine, who will meet at Tottenham Stadium in London on 25 September. A Wilder win could lead to a fourth meeting with Fury.

Recently the trainer, Freddie Roach has revealed that Tyson Fury wants him to help Fury train for the third fight with Deontay Wilder.

Tyson Fury was tested by PCR for COVID on July 5 and received a positive result the next day and had received the first vaccine (but not the second) and experienced mild symptoms.
