The Nacho Beristain trained Steve Luevano cruised to victory by keeping his distance and counter-punching effectively against the rugged and come forward power puncher Terdsak Jandaeng of Thailand in the main undercard of the Pacquiao-Marquez fight at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The judges scores were 118-109, 119-109, 119-109 all for Luevano.

Luevano tried to exchange with Jandaeng in the earlier rounds but was rewarded with knocked down when he was caught by a Jandaeng power punch. From thereon Luevano stayed away safely from the distance and tagged Jandaeng with precise sniping throughout the remainder of the contest that bloodied the face and puffing both eyes of the raging Thailander.

Luevano is now 35-1-0 with 15 KOs while Jendaeng has dropped to 29-3-0 (19 KOs).
