PH chess genius Jasper Faeldonia strikes again in RCC online chess tourney

PH chess genius Jasper Faeldonia from Odiongan, Romblon, a consistent winner of the Romblon Chess Club (RCC) tournaments, stamped his class again by topping the 41-player field All-Romblomanons Chess Players.

This is the 4th championship crown of Jasper, winner of the 4th, 5th and 7th editions in this blitz online chess tournament at lichess.org, backed up by Dr. Jenny Mayor of Mayor Dental Clinic, DILG Regional Director Engr. James Fadrilan, DSWD-MIMAROPA RIO-III Engr. Ernie Faeldonia and Mr. Gerry Servanez.

The Grade 10 student varsity of Arellano University under the tutelage of NM/NA/AGM Rudy Ibanez scored 12 wins & a loss in the 13-round Swiss system. He was followed by Mr. Bryan Blair Fallarme of Corcuera in the second place & DepEd Teacher also from Corcuera, Romblon Mr. Jerry Morada Jr. in the 3rd place.
It shall be recalled that Jasper finished co-champion during the Singapore National Age Group Chess Championships two years ago.
Rounding up to the top 10 were Nephtali Bantang (4th), Ernie Faeldonia (5th), John Paul Canulo (6th), Rilly Familara (7th), Dr. Jenny Mayor (8th), Yosef Immanuel Morada (9th) and Raymond Arevalo (10th).-Marlon Bernardino-
