Bacon (L) and Jungco (R) pose during Thursday's weighin in Miami.
Filipino welterweight contender Jameson Bacon (W24 KO16 L4 D0) of Sanman/MR came in two pounds lighter from the welter limit as he tipped in the scales at 145 pounds versus his Argentinian opponent Roque Junco who came heavier at 147 pounds.
Both fighters promised to bring it forward when they see each other inside the ring tomorrow in Miami, Florida. Bacon is fresh from his knockout victory over Argentinian Gonzalo Dallera whom countryman Junco wishes to avenge.
Bacon wants to continue his winning streak in the States and hopefully bag a championship fight soon. “I have been working so hard in the gym to maintain my momentum and keep on winning. It’s difficult to be far from family but I have to pursue my dream and work for it. I am blessed to have a manager and promoter who does everything for our well-being. I will put on a good action tomorrow and will do my best to win impressively,” Bacon said.
