Herring and Oquendo made weight. ✅✅

Defending WBO Super Featherweight World Champion 🇺🇸 Jamel Herring scaled-in at 129.5 lbs. while veteran Puerto Rican challenger Jonathan ”Polvo” Oquendo made 129.6 ahead of their 12-rounder battle Saturday, September 5, @ the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. ⭐️ (Sunday morning here in Asia)

Both 30+ year-old men looked in excellent shape during Friday’s weigh-in ceremony and the stage is ready for their rumble.🔥

Online betting sites have the 34-year-old Herring (24-2, 10 KO’s) as favourite to retain belt, with odds as much as 1 to 8. That’s a lot. 🥊

But the veteran Puerto Rican (31-6, 19 KO’s) is an experienced warrior, and in boxing there are no small enemies. 🧐

In fact, this is Oquendo’s second shot at a world-title. So fans can be sure that the 37-year-old Boricua from beautiful Bayamón, Puerto Rico, will fight his heart out. 👍👍

Will the Puerto Rican brother succeed in probably his last chance at becoming world champion? 🧐

Or will the fresher southpaw Herring be able to handle Oquendo’s glory-hungry spirit for his successful second world-title defence? 🧐

The interesting battle is promoted by Bob Arum’s Top Rank live on ESPN. ✅

Herring vs Oquendo for WBO Super Featherweight World Title in Las Vegas. 👍 May the Best Man Win..!! 💥💥
