LOOK, WHO’S REAL INSENSITIVE…

GENERAL SANTOS CITY – IF there’s somebody who is insensitive, it’s Agot Isidro – not Jinkee Pacquiao.

Isidro isn’t just insensitive but also highly-judgmental.

You judged someone based on a mere instagram post?

Those who knew Jinkee Pacquiao as a person, as a mom and as a wife would not take the issue sitting down.

I personally take exception to what Agot Isidro had said against Jinkee Pacquiao. The boxing icon’s wife does not deserve such kind of insult.

As far as I know, Jinkee has not done anything bad against her. Why did Agot Isidro insult and look down on Jinkee is, to me, no longer mind-boggling?

Either the green-eyed monster is gobbling up Isidro’s heart or she’s simply a pot calling the kettle black.

Agot Isidro may not be aware that she hurt the feelings of the Pacquiao children when she labeled Jinkee as insensitive, nouveau.

Now, look who’s insensitive? Well, it is understandable because based on her biography Agot is childless. Parents always think about the impact of their actions on children, even with those who are biologically not their own.

I do believe, however, a woman can be sensitive to the feeling of children even if she is childless. Unless that woman is feeling bitter for not having her own child. A child is a gift from God. Couple with children are blessed.

Jinkee is an accomplished mom. She’s the reason behind why their children grew up well-disciplined, respectful and humble.

I know personally that the Pacquiao children love their mom so much. I’ve seen it myself. And so I’m sure they were offended by what Agot Isidro had said about their mom.

“She’s strict but very affectionate when it comes to our children. I give all the credit to my wife for nurturing the good values in our children,” boxing icon-lawmaker Manny Pacquiao told this writer.

Jinkee was making a headway in the rough-and-tumble world of politics when she gave it up in favor of her family and business.

Jinkee was then the vice governor of Sarangani Province. Her position was secured. No threat loomed in the horizon. She could be the future governor or representative of Sarangani.

But Jinkee is not enamored with politics. She’s not greedy or power-hungry. After serving for one term, she called it quits -- to focus on her family and business.

Agot Isidro should not allow her mind to remain idle.

Mahatma Gandhi, Indian philosopher and freedom fighter, once said, ”An idle mind is the devil's workshop and makes a person lazy.”

If Agot Isidro wants to advocate something great to advance the people’s welfare, she should take the cudgel for the Palestinians who have been fighting to regain their territory from the Israelites.

Afterall, her mother is a Palestinian and she has a Palestinian blood running in her veins. Fighting for the cause of the Palestinians is more worthwhile than picking a fight with Jinkee.

By the way, the Pacquiao family has never flaunted their hard-earned fortune.

Earlier this year, Senator Manny Pacquiao turned down the request for media coverage during his relief operations in quake-battered areas in Cotabato Province.

The Pacquiao family has more than a thousand scholars, donated more than a thousand homes to the homeless in Gensan and Sarangani and yet these were hardly publicized.
