Mark Bernaldez failed to duplicate Magic Mike Plania's victory as he bowed to undefeated American 'Prince' Albert Bell by a shutout unanimous decision Thursday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Top Rank's 'Live Boxing is Back' event.

Bell, from Toledo, who towers over Bernaldez, used his height and reach advantage and a slick boxing skill to totally dominate the Filipino over 10 rounds. Judges Tim Cheatham, Max DeLuca and Richard Ocasio gave all rounds to Bell with identical scores of 100 to 90.

Bell, at 6 feet with a 73" reach to Bernaldez 5'6" 66" fought from the outside and peppered Bernaldez with stinging jabs and combinations all night painting Bernaldez's face to crimson hue. Bell hurt his right hand towards the end of the 9th round when he connected it to Bernaldez face but Bernaldez failded to capitalized on it as Bell fought one-handed in the final round.

Bell now improves his undefeated record to 17-0 with 5 knockouts while Bernaldez dropped to 20-4-0, 14KOs.
