Undefeated featherweight contender Mark 'Magnifico' Magsayo of Bohol now fights under the banner of Manny Pacquiao's MP Promotions with the official signing done at the residence of Sen. Pacquiao in Makati Tuesday. Also present during the signing was MP Promotions president Sean Gibbons.

Magsayo (20-0-0, 14KOs) started as an amateur at 8-years-old and later turned professional at 18 under the famed ALA Promotions of Cebu. A decorated amateur, Magsayo became one of the hottest Filipino rising stars as a professional after dishing out many scintillating knockout performances and headlining several Pinoy Pride events. Magsayo became WBO's top contender in the featherweight for some time but a falling out with ALA Promotions after his last fight with the promotional outfit on Nov. 11, 2017 in Bohol stalled his career.

After a 15-month absence Magsayo fought again in April, 2019 and followed it up in August under a new management.

Currently ranked No. 5 by the WBC and No. 11 by the WBA, Magsayo hopes to keep his career back on track under the influential MP Promotions. He joins current Filipino world champions Johnriel Casimero and Jerwin Ancajas under the fighting senator's promotional outfit.
