Boracay Island, Philippines ? Kawhi Leonard was hounded by double-teams all night long, causing him to commit 9 turnovers against his former team that he led to last season?s championship. He finished with 12 points on a dismal 2-for-11 field goal shooting in 35 minutes of action.

He, however, made up for that with 11 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals to help the Clippers upend the defending champions Toronto Raptors 98-88, Monday night (Tuesday morning, Philippine time) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Lou Williams provided the usual spark off-the-bench, with game high 21 points. Montrezl Harrell stuffed the stat sheet with 14 markers, 11 boards, 2 dimes, 2 steals, and 3 blocks for the Clippers, who improved to 7 wins and 3 losses.

The Clippers dominated the boards with 66 team total, while the Raptors could only grab 38 of the same.

Pascal Siakam led Toronto with 16 points, on top of 10 rebounds, 6 assists, and 1 block. Norman Powell and Fred VanVleet added 15 and 14, respectively for the Raptors, who dropped their 3rd loss in 10 outings.

Up next for the Raptors are the Trailblazers in Portland on Wednesday night (Thursday morning, Philippine time).

Meanwhile, the Clippers will travel to Houston to face the Rockets on the same day.

How they scored:
