LOS ANGELES -- In one of the featured undercards of the Errol Spence Jnr vs Shawn Porter IBF/WBC welterweight unification bout at the Staples Center Saturday night (Sunday in Manila), Robert 'The Ghost' Guerrero dominated Gerald Thomas over 10 rounds over their welterweight contest to log his third straight win after coming back from retirement in 2017. Guerrero (36-6-1, 20KOs) of Gilroy, California used his right jab and left uppercuts to control the shifty Thomas (14-2-1, 8KOs) of Miami, Florida who could not find any headway all night. Judges Edward Hernandez and Steve Morrow had it 99-91 for Guerrero while Kermit Bayless gave Thomas two rounds for 98-92 score in favor of Guerrero.

Guerrero won world titles at featherweight and junior lightweight and interim tiles at lightweight and welterweight and fought some of the big names in boxing including Floyd Mayweather Jr., Keith Thurman and Danny Garcia.

In the first TV fight, Joey Spencer (9-0-0, 7KOs) of Union City, California, stays undefeated with a third round knockout win over Travis Gambardella (5-1-2, 2KO) of their four round scheduled Middleweight contest. Spencer drops Gambardella once in round one and two before the end came in the third round. Time 53 seconds of round three.
