CAITOM TO FIGHT ON VACANT WBC ABC MINIMUM TITLE SEPT. 28

Caitom wins his last bout in Singapore.

DAVAO CITY -- Undefeated Rey "The Future" Caitom Jr. of Mandaue, Cebu will fight a still unnamed fighter on Sept. 28 at the Footchow Building in Singapore.

The 33-year Caitom (8W-0L-1D, 3KO) now a resident of Singapore, made his second fight in Singapore last June 29 with a successful 2nd round TKO'd over Khachonsak Pothong of Thailand.

Last Nov. 23, he first beat Silem Serang of Indonesia via a unanimous decision at The Ring Boxing Community in Singapore.
Caitom made his last fight in the Philippines in July 22, 2006 with a majority draw with Ruel Lagunero in Tagbilaran City.
Meanwhile, Nurshahidah "The Sniper" Roslie (14W-2L-)D, 11KO) of Singapore will face undefeated Fan Yin (8W-0L, 2KO) of China in the other main-event.

The 31-year old Roslie will battle with the 22-year old Yin for the vacant World Boxing Council Silver female super bantamweight title.

The boxing promoter is Arvind Lalwani of Singapore Fighting Championship. (Lito delos Reyes)
