MAASIN, Southern Leyte -- Gladiators successfully made weight ahead of their battles set to unfold Tuesday, August 13, at the Maasin Sports Complex here in Southern Leyte. 👍👍

Veteran globe-trotting warrior Adones Aguelo (31-20-2, 21 KO's) of Cebu's Brix Flores Gym made 137 pounds while 26-year-old fearless gladiator Jimmy Borbon (7-7-4, 4 KO's) of Capiz, Western Visayas, scaled-in at 140 lbs., for their 10-rounder non-title super lightweight saga.

In the co-feature, Rufino Mante (9-20-2, 4 KO's) of Ubay, Bohol, stopped the needle at 145 lbs for his combat against former ALA fighter Boyce Sultan (9-12-1, 5 KO's). Sultan, 25, scaled-in one pound lighter at 144, and the two welterweight fighters are ready to rumble. 🥊
