Las Vegas, Nevada: At the final press conference for the Manny Pacquiao versus Keith ?One Time? Thurman, a Filipino-American trainer rises to the occasion, gets credit but stays mainly behind the scenes.

Julian Chua, one-time, amateur Golden Gloves Champion of the state of Indiana, was pleasantly surprised (and amused that this reporter from Philboxing.com recognized him). Now a full-time trainer and conditioning coach at Freddie Roach?s Wild Card gym and the (other) Wild Card Gym West. He is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), License 1445207 from May 2013 onwards.

In this clip, Julian Chua, breaks down the Manny-Pacquiao versus Keith Thurman and Caleb ?Sweet Hands? Plant versus Mike Lee for the IBF super-middleweight championship this Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the MGM Grand Arena.

Here?s Mr. Mike Lee, #1 contender to IBF super-middleweight champion Caleb ?Sweet Hands? Plant, as he mentioned and credited his trainer and conditioning coach.

?When I spent almost two years in and out of hospitals battling an autoimmune disease there were moments I never thought I could get back to this level and there were doctors who told me my fighting days were done. But I have won every fight since and I plan to prove that anything is possible if you want it bad enough. I could not have done this without my Dad, my advisor Mike Borao and my trainers Jamal Abdullah and Julian Chua.?
