In a "Crossroads" fight, Felix Verdejo (25-1,16KOs) of Puerto Rico kept his hopes alive of fighting for world title by defeating former interim champion Bryan Vasquez (37-4, 20KOs) by winning a decision victory. Both fighters fought "toe to toe" most of the fight. Officially, the 3 judges scored the fight 96-93 x2 and 98-92. Philboxing scored the fight a draw awarding each fighter 5 rounds each.
