Below are the Undercard results from the Crawford-Kahn WBO world welterweight championship at the Madison Square Garden in New York Saturday night.

Carlos Adames (17-0,14KOs) of the Dominican Republic upset hometown fighter Frank Galarza (20-3-2, 12KOs) of Brooklyn, NY by stopping him 1:07 in the 4th round of a NABF/NABO Super Welterweight match. Adames was the predator and Galara was the prey from beginning to start. Adames who had trainer and former world champion Robert Garcia in his corner finally caught up to Galarza in the 4th round by dropping him with a perfect left hook to the chin. Galarza beat the referees 10 count and was allowed to continue. Adames sensing he had his prey hurt sealed the deal with a barrage of punches while still maintaining perfect form and composure. Seeing that Galarza had enough, the Referee waved the fight off so he would not take anymore punishment.

Bantamweight Lawrence Newton improved his professional record to 12-0, 7KOs by defeating Jonathan Garza who now drops to 7-3, 2KOs. Scores were 60-54 and 59-55 x2.

In a super welterweight bout Vikas Krishan (2-0, 1KO) decisioned Noah Kidd (3-2-1, 2KOs) over 6 rounds. Scores were 60-54x2, 59-55.

In the junior welterweight division Larry Fryers (10-1, 3KOs) defeated Dakota Polley (5-3, 2KOs). All 3 judges scored it 60-53.

Edgar Berlanga (10-0, 10KOs) must have wanted to go home early. He stopped Samir Barbosa (37-16-3, 26KOs) in 2:11 of the first round.
