Time of stoppage is at 1:18 of the first round. Santisima showed his superior skill and awesome power by connecting two solid left to the head of Mrema early in the round and followed it up with a thundering right overhand that landed squarely to the jaw of Mrema who fell like a log. Mrema struggled to get up to beat the count but his legs could not support him and Referee Tony Pesons waived off the contest. Santisima recorded his 12th straight win, 11 by knockouts.
Magsayo downs Diaz.
Santisima drops Mrema like a log in 1st round action of the 10-round scheduled super bantamweight bout.

Comebacking Albert Pagara (28-1-0, 19KOs) won by 4th round knockout over journeyman Aekkawee Kaewmanee (16-10-0, 6KOs) of Thailand. Kaewmanee entertained the crowd by his showboating, taunting Pagara to hit him and throwing quick counters to the at times tentative Pagara. But the entertainment suddenly stopped when Pagara connected with a vicious left uppercut to the liver of Kaewmanee who dropped to the canvas and stayed there for several minutes. He was carried on stretcher out of the ring and brought to the hospital for pre-caution.
