
WORLD RANKED FILIPINO BOXERS AS OF DECEMBER 2025 BY THE RING, WBC, WBA, IBF, AND WBO

Several Filipino fighters were ranked as world contenders by The Ring Magazine, World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Association (WBA), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Organization (WBO).
The Ring ranked four Filipinos in the minimumweight division, as follows: WBC champion Melvin Jerusalem at No. 1, IBF minimumweight champion Pedro Taduran at No. 2, Joey Canoy at No. 6 and Vic Saludar at No. 9.
At the junior flyweight division, two Filipinos were rated with Regie Suganob at No. 6 and Christian Araneta at No. 7.
The Ring included JayR Raquinel at No. 10 in the superflyweight division, former world champion Marlon Tapales the top contender at No. 1 in the superbantamweight, and Olympian Charley Suarez as No. 8 superfeatherweight contender.
The WBC listed former eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao as its top contender at No. 1 in the welterweight category with his former opponent American Mario Barrios as champion.
Former world champion Mark Magsayo is rated No. 1 superfeatherweight contender. Another former world champion Marlon Tapales is the No. 3 superbantamweight contender.
The WBC also ranked Jay RRaquinel at No. 5 superflyweight. In the junior flyweight category, Regie Suganob is at No. 9 while Christian Araneta is at No. 10.
At minimumweight where Melvin Jerusalem is the champion, Joey Canoy is No.3 WBC contender.
The WBA listed only three Filipinos in their rankings, namely, Kenneth Llover at No. 10 bantamweight, Vic Saludar at No. 5 and Joey Canoy both at minimumweight division.
The IBF included several Pinoy boxers in their world rankings. Mark Magsayo is No. 4 lightweight contender. At superbantamweight, Marlon Tapales is No. 4, Jerwin Ancajas is No. 5, and Carl Jammis Martin is No. 6.
Kenneth Llover is No. 5 and Reymart Gaballo is No. 9 in the bantamweight division. Vince Paras is No. 4 while Jay RRaquinel is No. 5 at superflyweight.
Two contenders each were ranked at the flyweight, No. 8 is Miel Fajardo and No.9 is Roderick Bautista; at the junior flyweight, No. 6 is Christian Araneta and No. 9 is Arar Andales.
The IBF minimumweight division has the most number of Filipino contenders at five led by champion Pedro Taduran, followed by No. 4 Ken Abne, No. 6 Christian Balunan, No. 8 Joey Canoy, and. No. 10 Vic Saludar.
WBO has the second highest number of rated Pinoy boxers. At No. 4 welterweight is Manny Pacquiao. Charley Suarez is the No. 1 contender at superfeatherweight, while Mark Magsayo is at No. 5.
WBO ranks Marlon Tapales at No. 3 and Jerwin Ancajas at No. 7 in the superbantamweight. At superflyweight is No. 10 Arvin Jhon Paciones.
Three boxers were rated each in the lightest divisions. At junior flyweight we have No. 4 Regie Suganob, No. 5 Christian Araneta and No. 6 Jesse Espinas. At minimumweight were No. 2 Vic Saludar, No. 6 Joey Canoy, and No. 9 Joseph Sumabong.
Marlon Tapales is contender in The Ring, WBC, IBF, and WBO. Vic Saludar is rated in the The Ring, WBA, IBF and WBO. Joey Canoy is ranked in the The Ring, WBC, IBF and WBO.
