OAKLAND ? Even without their best player, Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors had more than enough firepower to handle the Houston Rockets,115-106, and take a 2-0 lead in their first-round Western Conference series.

Curry, the reigning MVP, tried to give it a go but he abruptly ended his pre-game warm-up routine.due to some discomfort.

In Curry?s absence, Klay Thompson stepped up with 34 points and a career high 16 free throw attempts. Andre Iguodala
sank four triples and finished with 18. while Draymond Green added 12 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists.
