The World Boxing Council reports that the Philippines Sonny Boy Jaro and WBC super flyweight champion Carlos ?Principle? Cuadras are preparing for fireworks in their title fight in Washington D.C. USA on November 13.

The WBC website said Cuadras and Jaro who are both ?renowned as terrific, tear-away punchers are winding up to ignite fireworks? in their clash for the coveted green and gold belt.

Presented by UNDER ARMOUR, ?FIGHT NIGHT? was created 25 years ago by Joseph E. Robert, Jr., the founder of Fight For Children, as a way to generate resources to help low-income kids in the nation?s capital, Washington D.C.

The WBC noted that this year?s event will feature great WBC World Championship boxing and a spectacular female match with the International WBC Championship on the line.

Undefeated WBC super flyweight Champion Carlos Cuadras, from Mexico, has an impressive record if 30-0 with 20 knockouts while former world champion Sony Boy Jaro who is from the Philippines and a fighter handled by former boxer and now manager/trainer/promoter Aljoe Jaro, has a record of 37-13-5 with 27 knockouts.

In his last fight, Cuadras battled his compatriot Jose Salgado at the Alberto Vega Chavez Stadium in Guamuchil, Sinaloa to a 4th round technical decision while Sonny Boy Jaro scored a 6th round TKO over Japan?s Ichal Tobido last June 28 in Davao City in Southern Philippines.

Both boxers passed the 30 days weigh in prior to the fight, according to WBC rules with Cuadras tipping the scales at 125.1 pounds while the rugged Philippine challenger weighed in at 126 pounds which the WBC reported ?proves they are in excellent shape in the countdown for their clash on November 13th at the USA's Capital.?
