Trazo beats Jabagat in Talisay

LIGHT flyweight Joperson Trazo of Cebu landed more effective punches against Benjie Jabagat of Davao City en route to a unanimous decision last night, January 31 at the Bulacao in Talisay City, Cebu.
Trazo almost fell down while trying to throw a punch in the last round while Jabagat also split down while he tried to down Trazo.
Jabagat tried to hit Trazo in the first three rounds but Trazo was too clever.
All three judges scored in favor of Trazo - John Ceniza [99-91], Rolando Mendoza [98-92] and Tony Pesons [97-93].
Trazo improved his record to seven wins with two losses, one draw and two knockouts, while Jabagat suffered his second loss against seven wins with six knockouts.
Meanwhile, John Kevin Jimenez of Cebu stopped Remark Antaran of Davao City in the 4th round in a main-supporting bout.
