It seems like celebrated trainer Freddie Roach has moved to the Pacman Gym in General Santos City as he was in a party of eleven persons including "Fighter of the Decade" Manny Pacquiao's sparring partners and fighters that Roch is training for upcoming fights.

One of the two lanky fighters in the mould of undefeated WBO light welterweight champion Chris Algieri, Stan "The Man" Martyniouk arrived but the other sparring partner of Pacquiao, Viktor Postol was delayed and is expected to arrive soon.

Also in the Roach entourage were welterweight Mike Jones (26-2, 19 KO's), Mexican super featherweight Jose Ramirez (25-4, 15 KO's)
and IBF super middleweight Lucien Bute (31-2, 24 KO's).

Assistant trainer Buboy Fernandez told the Manila Standard that Pacquiao has been training hard and is excited about his showdown with Algieri but he was not certain who Roach will use as sparring partners aside from Martyniouk and Postol.

29 year old Stan ?The Man? Martyniouk, who wound up his sparring stint with WBA featherweight champion Nonito ?The Filipino Flash?
Donaire is a 29 year old lightweight with a record of 13-2 with 2 knockouts and is from Estonia but is now an American citizen.

In his last fight on August 9, Martyniouk dropped an eight round split decision to unbeaten Ivan Najera after earlier winning an eight round unanimous decision over former Pacquiao sparring partner David Rodela on July 20, 2013.

An outstanding amateur Martyniouk who stands around 5?10? won a bronze medal at the National Golden Gloves championships in 2007.

30 year old Viktor Postol from Ukraine is the unbeaten WBC light welterweight Silver champion and stands 5?11?. Postol won the WBC title with a rousing 11th round TKO over tough Selcuk Aydin when referee Raul Caiz Jr stopped the contest at 2:52 of the penultimate round on May 17, 2014. He is currently ranked No. 1 by the WBC and No. 7 by the WBO.

Reporting on the Postol-Ayudin fight Scott Christ of SB Nation said Postol largely dominated the fight before scoring a big uppercut that crumbled the Turkish veteran and ended the night.

Postol (26-0, 11 KO) was busier than the more rugged but limited Aydin (26-3, 19 KO), and came back from being wobbled in the opening frame to outbox Aydin over the remainder of the fight, slowly but surely busting him up and doing some damage, eventually
scoring the stoppage.

According to CompuBox, Postol landed 395 of 1105 total punches (36% connect rate) compared to Aydin's 118 for 393 (30%). Postol was very busy in the fight, largely using his jab to frustrate Aydin and keep him at bay. Postol landed 235 of 484 power punches (49%), with Aydin at 71 of 195 (36%). Aydin just never found a real rhythm. BLH had Postol up 98-92 at the time of the stoppage.
