Unbeaten 20-year-old slugger Harmonito Dela Torre of Gensan knocked out Indonesian southpaw Isack Junior (22-6-2, 8 KO's) in four rounds to capture the interim World Boxing Federation (WBF) super featherweight (130 lbs) title Saturday night (Sep 13) at Lagao Gym, General Santos City, Philippines

The taller Dela Torre (14-0, 8 KO's) was simply too fast, slick and powerful for the Indonesian veteran who had no weapons to counter the relentless attacks thrown at him by "The Hurricane of Gensan."

Dela Torre had the support of his stablemate the newly crowned WBA interim Jr. Flyweight Champion Randy Petalcorin who was in attendance rooting for him.

In the co-main event, undefeated 20-year-old John Vincent "Mulawin" Moralde (11-0, 6 KO's) of Davao City scored a 10-round unanimous decision win over Indonesian Jason Butar Butar, 25, to claim the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) International super bantamweight (122 lbs) strap.

In another clash, American Danny McDermott of Jersey City, New Jersey, overpowered Filipino Ronnel Esparas of Samar in round 6 to earn the vacants WBF and WBC Asian Boxing Council Silver Jr. Welterweight (140 lbs) belts. In his prior outing last July, the veteran McDermott defeated Filipino Jesar Ancajas at Bula Gym in Gensan.

The card Saturday night in Gensan, titled "Battle of the Pentagon,"was a production of Jim Claude Manangquil of Sanman Promotions.
