In what promises to be an exciting battle of southpaws, tough Jun ?Hercules? Doliguez faces Dennis ?The Scorpion? Tubieron at the Mandaluyong City Gym on September 19 in a fight card promoted by youthful Elmer Anuran of Batangas.

The 23 year old Doliguez has failed to live up to the expectations of Anuran but after a training stint in the US followed up by his preparation for the Tubieron fight in Batangas, his manager believes he has something to prove and it will be a good fight.

Doliguez has an impressive record of 19-1-2 with 14 knockouts while Tubieron who is a fighter from the Gabriel ?Bebot? Elorde stable has a record of18-3-1 with 8 knockouts.

Anuran told the Manila Standard/Viva Sports that Doliguez is a work in progress and ?has a lot of things to improve on.?
In his last fight Doliguez put on a solid performance ro win an eight round unanimous decision in a rematch with Gabriel Francisco Pena last May 24 after dropping a six round decision to Pena on April 5 in which Doliguez was dropped in the opening round.

Doliguez made an impressive US debut in a fight at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas when he scored a 6th round TKO over Mexican veteran Giovanni Caro on October 12, 2013 and has yet to recapture that form.

Tubieron suffered a 5th round TKO loss to undefeated Valentine Borg in New South Wales, Australia on December 13, 2013 in a clash for the vacant International Boxing Organization lightweight title and recovered from that loss with a six round split decision win over Rey Ramos last June 28.
