Raul Caiz, Jr.
The accomplished young ring official, Raul Caiz Jr, son of his illustrious father Raul Caiz Sr, has been named as the referee for what promises to be an exciting battle in which WBO/WBA flyweight champion Juan Francisco ?El Gallo? Estrada (26-2, 19 KO?s)puts his belts on the line against former light flyweight champion Giovanni Segura (32-3-1, 28 KO?s) who at one time was No. 8 on the Ring Magazine pound-for-pound rankings.
WBO president Francisco ?Paco? Valcarcel also announced that the judges will be Mexico?s Alejandro Lopez Cid, Levi Martinez from the United States and Rafael Carabano from Venezuela.
The fight will take place in Mexico City on Sunday, Manila Time.
Estrada won the title with a split decision over the Philippines WBO/WBA champion Brian Viloria in Macau on April 6, 2013 and then successfully defended it also at the same venue, scoring a twelve round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Milan Melindo on July 27, 2013.
Estrada is coming off a 10th round knockout of Filipino Richie Mepranum last April 26 in his second title defense while Segura in his last fight won by a 10th round TKO over Felipe Salguero last April 5.

Segura lost his WBO title by a stunningly one-sided 8th round TKO after a bad beating from Viloria on December 11, 2011.
