Not many Filipino boxing fans know too much about WBA No. 2 ranked light flyweight and Pan Asian Boxing Association champion Randy ?Razor? Petalcorin who is a 22 year old southpaw from General Santos City.

Fight fans who follow the top rated Viva Sports weekly boxing show ?The Main Event? on Pinoy Box Office (PBO) over Sky Cable at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday with a replay at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, will get a glimpse of Petalcorin?s fights when he won the vacant PABA title in a clash with Samartlek Kokietgym plus highlights of his TKO win over another Thai, Samransak Singmanasak which was held AT THE Malvern Town Hall in Melbourne, Australia.

They will also get a glimpse of Petalcorin training for his fight against Samartlek as well as highlights of Tello?s fight against champion Alberto Rossel plus a brief interview with well known Australian promoter Peter Maniatis who co-manages Petalcorin with Jim Manangquil of GenSan.

Petalcorin who has a record of 21-1-1 with 16 knockouts will battle Panama?s experienced 27 year old No. 6 ranked Walter Tello for the WBA light flyweight Interim title on the inaugural telecast of ?Fist of Power?, a weekly boxing show that opens in Shanghai on August 26.

The show which will be telecast all across China is the latest joint venture between Top Rank Promotions, SECA and China Sands Limited who have staged six championship events at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino in Macau in the last 15 months.

Since Shangai will be the second stop of the media tour designed to promote the WBO welterweight title fight between ?Fighter of the Decade? Manny Pacquiao and WBO light welterweight champion Chris Algieri at a catch-weight of 144 pounds, both fighters are expected to be at ringside which will be a big boost to Petalcorin since he comes from the hometown of Pacquiao.

The Main Event will also telecast, by numerous requests, a replay of the action-packed super flyweight bout between tough Jason Canoy and promising Giovani Escaner held at the Mandaluyong City Gym in a promotion of former two division world champion Gerry Penalosa in cooperation with Mandaluyong City Mayor BenHur Abalos.
