In another obvious mismatch sanctioned by the Games and Amusements Board, Filipino super flyweight Geboi Mansalayao was knocked out in the 2nd round in a battle for the vacant WBC Asia Silver title by WBA world No. 4 ranked Norasing Lookbanyai (Kokietgym) at the Sawan Vegas Hotel in Laos.

Boxing writer Damrong Simakajornboon reported that Lookbanyai hammered Mansalayao with vicious combinations ending the uneven bout with what he described as a big body shot followed by two big right hooks that dropped the Filipino who was counted out at 1:57 of the second round.

It was the 26 year old Mansalayao?s eighth defeat in his last nine fights as the Filipino who is unranked even by the GAB fell to 9-17-4 with 3 knockouts while the undefeated and world rated Lookbanyai who is 28 improved to 11-0-1 with 8 knockouts. Lookbanyai was coming off two successive 2nd round TKO victories over Indonesian veteran Heri Amol on November 22, 2013 and Filipino Rick Paciones last February 27.
