
ESPINO SUFFERS 4TH ROUND TKO BY KANEKO IN TOKYO

The Philippines No. 13 ranked featherweight Cirilo ?Slugger? Espino has been beaten by Daiki Kaneko who scored a 4th round TKO in a scheduled ten round bout at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
The 31 year old Espino who lost by a 10th round technical split decision to Philippine champion Vinvin Rufino, was no match for the 26 year old Kaneko who dropped a twelve round unanimous decision in a WBA super featherweight title fight against champion Takashi Uchiyama on December 31, 2013.
Kaneko is currently ranked No. 4 by the Japan Boxing Commission.
Espino had lost an eight round unanimous decision to Ryota Kajiki on December 8, 2013.
With the win Kaneko moves to 21-3-3 with 14 knockouts while Espino drops to 19-14-3 with 12 knockouts.
