Former WBO/WBA world flyweight champion Brian Viloria is fancied to win his second comeback fight after losing his WBO/WBA world flyweight titles to Mexico?s Juan Francisco Estrada by a split decision at the Cotai Arena in Macau on April 6, 2013.

Viloria who scored a comfortable ten round unanimous decision over Juan Herrera in his first comeback fight last March 29 is expected to be too good and far too experienced for Jose Alfredo Zuniga in their Cotai Arena clash on July 19.

The 25 year old Zuniga is moving up from light flyweight to face Viloria who at 33 has fought some of the very best in the flyweight division including Julio Cesar Miranda from whom he won the WBO title on July 16, 2010, Hernan ?Tyson? Marquez from whom Viloria won the WBA title with a 10th round TKO in a ring war, pound for pound No. 8 Giovanni Segura over whom he scored an 8th round TKO and Mexican veteran Omar Nino Romero whom he stopped in nine rounds.

Viloria has a record of 33-4 with 19 knockouts while Zuniga has a record of 11-5-1 with 5 knockouts.

Zuniga won the WBC International Silvere title with a twelve round unanimous decision over Luis Ceja on June 8, 2013 and then lost by a majority decision in a WBA light flyweight title clash with Alberto Rossel of Peru on September 28, 2013.

Boxing writer Brian Mazique reported that ?Zuniga is still early in his career. He'll have an opportunity to improve, and he may even earn another shot at the title once he has garnered more experience.?

Mazique said ?Rossel used constant pressure to outwork his opponent. He was at a clear height and reach disadvantage, but he used his speed to get inside and land the more clean and effective punches. Zuniga surely had his moments. In the third round the Mexican landed his jab and hard body shots to control the action.

Near the midway point of the fourth round, Rossel began to time Zuniga. The challenger was lunging in with wide punches and the champion started to land hard counter left hooks.

By the final round, the fight was still close, but Rossel seemed to be the fresher fighter, and he even landed a punch that appeared to wobble Zuniga at the end of the 12th round. Rossel finished strong and deserved the decision.

Viloria who is training at the Wild Card Gym of Freddie Roach and is being handled by Roach?s assistant Marvin Somodio told the Manila Standard that he is itching to get back into the ring and that ? training is going great, just perfect.?
