MEGRINO RUMBLES SAULONG TONIGHT AT THE HYATT IN MALATE, METRO MANILA

MANILA, Philippines - In a tough non-title 10-rounder, world-rated WBC Flyweight #9 Rey Megrino (L) of Misamis Occidental is set to exchange blows against undefeated 25-year-old Ernesto Saulong (14-0-1, 5 KO's) tonight (May 14) here the Hyatt Hotel in Malate, Metro Manila; the winner assuring a place in the World Boxing Council world rankings.

Will the more experienced Rey Megrino, coming from international victories in Thailand and Japan, be able to easily handle the unbeaten Ernesto Saulong to keep ascending in the world ratings... or will the younger unbeaten Ernesto Saulong have the power and skills to dominate the world-ranked veteran?

In the exciting main event, "The Smooth Operator" Jerson Mancio (18-4-3, 9 KO's) hailing from "The Queen City of the South," Cebu City, Philippines, makes the 4th defense of his Games & Amusement Board (GAB) Jr. Flyweight (108 lbs) title against the 23-year-old "Bulldozer" Benezer Alolod (13-5-5, 3 KO's of Polomolok, Cotabato del Sur.

Also set to see action is the southpaw "Cobra" Roldan Aldea (7-1-1, 3 KO's) of Negros Occidental against tough 22-year-old Gilbert Donasales in a 10-rounder in the featherweight division.

Moreover, a fight between two young up-and-coming 118-pounders will delight fans in attendance: unbeaten Rolando Servania (6-0, 2 KO's) of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental in battle against fearless Marlon Arcilla of Virac, Catanduanes, both fighters thirsty to get the win.

Six more combats will thrill fans.
