Sulaiman.
Taking an active stance since succeeding his late father Don Jose Sulaiman as president of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaiman has said he?d like to hold a summit with other principal world boxing organizations.

In a story in the WBC website, correspondent James Blears reports that Sulaiman made the proposal during a conference call of his weekly WBC press conference.

Sulaiman is currently traveling, according to Blears, but took time out to chat with national and international reporters.
Sulaiman said the aim of the proposed summit which he wishes to convene as soon as practically possible is to work together and find a way forward.

The WBC president is flexible about the location for the meeting with the venue likely to be decided by the availability of the other world boxing organization leaders which would include Gilberto Mendoza of the WBA with whom the WBC has had friendly exchanges over the years, Francisco ?Paco? Valcarcel of the WBO and Darryl Peoples of the IBF.

Sulaiman is keen on seeing what are the common issues in which progress could be made.
