Valcarcel.
World Boxing Organization president Francisco ?Paco? Valcarcel has welcomed reports that a rematch between ?Fighter of the Decade? Manny Pacquiao and WBO welterweight champion Timothy ?Desert Storm? Bradley is almost a done deal.

Pacquiao?s adviser Michael Koncz told the Manila Standard that there are ?only some small details to work out and it's looking like the Bradley rematch will beat the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 12?, the date previously announced by Top Rank promoter Bob Arum who himself said he is optimistic the fight will push through.

Reacting to the news of the rematch, the WBO president was quoted by boxingscene.com as saying "It's one of the great battles that can happen this year."

Valcarcel pointed out that "The controversy of the first fight makes it very interesting, added to the fact that they are great fighters and Bradley is a great champion and Pacquiao needs no introduction.?

Valcarcel said ?It's a fight that can not be missed. Among the three options that were being considered, this is the most interesting. They had a rematch clause in the contract for his first fight and both belong to the same promoter" Bob Arum.

Aside from Bradley, WBO light welterweight champion and former Pacquiao sparring partner Ruslan Provodnikov was also being considered while others indicated that Robert ?The Ghost? Guerrero was also among the options but his on-going legal battle with Golden Boy Promotions effectively ruled him out.
