Fight fans walked out of a boring WBO/WBA super bantamweight title fight of former two-time Cubal Olympic gold medalist Guillermo Rigondeaux at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

Boxing insider reported that after an exciting, action-packed battle between James Kirkland and Golen Tapia, the Rigondeaux title defense against Joseph Agbeko was ?an absolute bore.?

Rigondeaux survived an early body attack by Agbeko in round one and did nothing after that connecting with only one punch in round five to the utter dismay of fight fans.

Rigondeaux who score a stunning twelve round unanimous decision over 2012 ?Fighter of the Year? Nonito Donaire last November, totally outboxed Agbeko to score a 120-108 shutout on the scorecards of all three judges.

William Holmes of Boxing Insider reported that ?people began to leave the arena in the middle of Rigondeaux?s bout as it offered very little excitement. Agbeko wasn?t doing much to try and apply the pressure or even win the fight, he basically just stood there and moved his head in an effort to avoid Rigondeaux?s jabs and quick left crosses. There was nothing exciting to report in this fight.?
