An elated Freddie Roach says he wants a message delivered to Brandon ?Bam Bam? Rios who had earlier claimed he would go for the kill and send ?Fighter of the Decade? Manny Pacquiao into retirement when they clash for the WBO Intercontinental welterweight title at the C orai Arena of the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino in Macau on November 24.

Roach said ?tell Rios we are going after him and we'll knock him out.?

The celebrated Hall-of-Fame trainer was exuberant after Pacquiao went 14 scintillating rounds on the punch-mitts as part of his regular routine on non-sparring days.

Roach told us that Pacquiao sparred 12 rounds with rugged Filipino welterweight Dan Nazareno and British light middleweight Liam Vaughan last Saturday and looked great, even as he indicated everything was coming on really well.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, in a reaction to concerns that Pacquiao?s sparring partners lack the experience and the quality of some his sparring partners in the past who included Ruslan Provodnikov, Raymund Beltran, Glenn Tapia and other talented fighters told us ?I don?t think that?s important.?

His sentiments which are shared by many is that sparring partners ?are only important to get your timing, that?s all.?
At the same time Arum informed the Manila Standard that he plans another great fight card for February in Macau which will feature two world title fights and three Olympic gold medalists he recently signed up.

He said featured on the card aside from China?s popular two-time Olympic gold medalist Zou Shiming will be Japanese London Olympic middleweight gold medalist Ryoto Murata and Russian light heavyweight gold medalist also in London, Egor Mekhonstev.

Arum who met in Corpus Christi with ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer and ABS-CBN?s Peter Musngi ?to put something together using one of the ALA fighters? on the February card and mentioned undefeated WBO Intercontinental super bantamweight Genesis Servania (23-0, 9 KO?s) who is coming off a rousing 2nd round knockout of former WBA super flyweight champion Rafael ?El Torito? Concepcion of Panama and undefeated WBO Intercontinental and OPBF super flyweight King Arthur Villanueva (24-0, 14 KO?s).

Arum inquired from us whether we thought Servania could move up to featherweight but we indicated he is perfectly comfortable at 122 and it wouldn?t help him to move up which is a position ALA boxing patron Tony Aldeguer later told us, he fully agreed with.
