Filipino southpaw Marvin ?Chavacano Disaster? Mabait has promised to knockout Mexico?s Johnny Garcia when they clash for the WBO Intercontinental bantamweight title at Salon Jose Cuervo in Mexico City on Saturday, Manila Time.
All Star Boxing said that when Mabait was asked whether feels he needs a knockout to beat the former world title challenger, he replied ?I?m going to knock him out.?
Mabait said he had watched some fights of Garcia on YouTube and said ?he seems tough, I?ll beat him.?
Accompanied by trainer Nonito ?Dodong? Donaire Sr, Mabait said he doesn?t worry about fighting in the home country of Garcia because, he said ?I?m very confident that I will beat him convincingly.?
Donaire who has reconciled with his son, 2012 ?Fighter of the Year? Nonito ?The Filipino Flash? Donaire and will return to Las Vegas to continue training him for his November grudge rematch with Vic Darchinyan said Garcia?s style ?is a good matchup for Marvin. I?m not saying it?ll be easy, but stylistically it?s a good matchup for Marvin.?
